Wabby Sabby (Wabi Sabi) originates from the Buddhist idea that beauty is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
It led to the Japanese art of Kintsugi, or golden repair. Where instead of throwing away a broken object, they repair the cracks with gold or silver, increasing its strength and beauty. It tells us that breakage and repair is part of our history. It`s something to celebrate, rather than something to disguise.
In a “Social Media Filtered” world, it takes courage to show up as we are. To accept our imperfections and show them off as a badge of honour, not hide them away.
